Hi, my name is Peter Jankowski and I’m the owner and head trainer at Renew Fitness.
To give you a quick background I’ve been reasonably fit most of my life but there was a decade or so that I really let myself go. I had only just moved to Newcastle when I took on a sedentary job (I was literally tethered to a desk for 12 hours per day or night) and this contributed to putting on quite a lot of weight. The combination of shift work, poor diet and no exercise left me feeling old and miserable at the ripe old of 35.
After a few failed attempts to get back into shape I found Turbulence Training and within a few months I had lost the excess weight and overcome my injuries. This personal transformation inspired me to leave my job and entered the world of personal training.
I have a passion for human movement and specialise in exercises programming that is specifically designed for people moving into their 40’s and beyond so they can have more energy, feel better and live a more active life.
Like you my life is very busy and as a person in my 40’s I understand and appreciate the challenges that others in my age group face. With a young child and a job that has me working crazy hours. I need an exercise regime that doesn’t require me to spend countless hours at the gym. I need a nutrition plan that allows for life to happen.
