Personal trainers often get a bad rap, healthy puritans that impose their way of doing things on innocent victims.
I don’t work that way. I see my role as someone who determines what you need to achieve your goals and to provide you with the correct information to get there.
As a potential student/client reading this, it’s essential to realise that I will not do the work for you. I will guide and support you every step of the way.
My Certifications include:
Plus others including DVRT Sandbags, Barefoot Specialist.

More about me
As far as personal trainers go, I don’t consider myself a fitness nut. Most conversations I have at the gym revolve around “what’s for dinner” or “have you tried this wine?” I do love kettlebell training because of the versatility it provides. It has kept my body strong, healthy and injury free for many years. It has kept my interest longer than any other form of training.
When I’m not in the gym, you will find me in the ocean. I particularly enjoy bodyboarding, a hobby that has stayed with me since I was a teenager.
Over the years I have struggled with my weight and finding a balance between “living large” and “living lean.” I do believe I’ve found a great balance though, between “gym life” and “real life.”
I do love training, but more specifically I love how it makes me feel, and what it enables me to do; it’s this balanced approach that I try to instil into my students.
