Sacrifice and Reward

Something to think about this Sunday:

Sacrifice and reward. Long term fat loss relies heavily on these two things. You will not achieve it without striking a balance between the two. The good part is that even on a fat loss eating plan you can have everything that you want. You just can’t have it all the time.

If you are overweight the balance has most likely shifted heavily in the favor of reward. You’re eating too much of the “good stuff” and you’re eating it too often. Not only that you’re most likely not earning it with exercise either.

There needs to be a paradigm shift toward sacrifice being the main player in your life. Fat loss is not easy but once you accept that you have to make sacrifices to achieve it the process is actually a simple one.

Eat good whole foods, cut out the process crap and alcohol, move more and then on occasion reward yourself for you hard work. I’m not saying you can never have a pizza, chocolate, ice cream or >>>>insert your poison here<<<<< but you do need to realize that you simply can’t have it all the time. Once you start to replace these emotional crutches with exercise and only use them as a reward system for hard work you will immediately start seeing the results you’ve so longed for.

So this Sunday have a think about the way you live you life, the way you eat, the way you move and ask yourself if your are rewarding yourself more than you are sacrificing. If you are then it’s time to make a change….

Real regrets only come from not doing your best. All else is out of your control. You’re measured by results only. Trade excuses and “trying” for results, and expect half-hearted results from half-hearted efforts. Do more than is expected of you. Life’s easy when you live it the hard way… and hard if you try to live it the easy way. – Kekich’s Credo #4
